Club Royal Swim Club
Rules
& Regulations:
The following rules and regulations are for the protection and
benefit of all members. These rules have been established to assure
safe and sanitary operations of the pool facilities. Parents are
required to caution their children to observe all rules and obey
instructions of the pool manager and other employees. The pool
manager and guards have the authority delegated to them by the Board
of Directors to ask any member, guest or child to leave the premises
for infractions of any of the pool rules or for any other actions(s)
unbecoming a member. Any failure to comply with these rules shall be
considered sufficient cause of immediate suspension of the pool
privileges for the offending member for a period from one (1) to
seven (7) days and may also be considered cause for cancellation of
membership.
- All persons using the pool do so at their own risk. The Club
will not be responsible for any accidents or injuries in
connection with such use.
- Rescue equipment is strictly for lifeguard use.
- No flotation devices are allowed in the deep end of the pool.
The use of the items in the shallow end is subject to the
discretion of pool employees. It is also strongly recommended that
parents keep one hand at all time, on any flotation devices used
by their children.
- Parents are responsible for their children at all times.
However, children 8 years or older, may swim unattended, provided
they can pass the following swim test:
- Swim 60 feet in deep water
- Float for 2 minutes
- Tread water for 2 minutes
- An adult or an approved sitter must accompany children unable
to pass the swimming test. Sitters must be 16 years of age or
older or be approved by the pool manager.
- Children 13 years of age or younger must be accompanied by an
adult member after 6:00 pm.
- All children under 16 years of age are required to leave BOTH
pools in the last 10 minutes of each hour for a rest period.
During rest period:
- Parents may take infants 18 months or younger in the big
pool. The child must be in the arms of the parent. The child MAY
NOT be in a flotation device.
- No child is allowed to sit on the edge of the pool.
- Only children 7 years of age or younger are allowed in the
wading (baby) pool.
- All persons must take a shower before entering the pool.
- Pool employees may refuse admission to anyone with skin
abrasions or obvious illness.
- Running, pushing, dunking, fighting, or wrestling is strictly
prohibited.
- No
back flips or any type of backwards jumps from the diving board.
- Water balloons & helium balloons are strictly prohibited for
safety reasons.
- Ball playing will be allowed but subject to the pool
employee’s discretion. Dodge ball will be allowed in the
grassy area only.
- Place trash in trash bins. Place aluminum cans in the
can bins.
- No food or drink is allowed in the pool. No glass
containers are allowed on pool premises.
- No animals are allowed on the premises.
- Do not visit with the lifeguards while they are on duty.
- The club will not be responsible for lost or damaged property.
- The cost of any damage to club property will be charged to the
responsible active member.
- All swimmers must wear generally acceptable swimwear. Cutoffs
and blue jeans are not acceptable. T-shirts are allowed.
- Park bicycles in designated areas.
- All members and their guests must show their membership card upon entering the club.
- Any difficulties should be brought to the attention of a
member of the Executive Committee.
Guest Privileges
- Members must pay a guest fee of $2.00 per adult, $1.00 child
(12 & under) to the guard at the gate. Members must accompany all
guests.
- There is no charge for out-of-town guests.
Pool Party Rules
A rental fee schedule and rules apply as follows:
- Parties held during regular pool hours (beginning and ending
during regularly scheduled hours)
$25.00 for up to 15 guests
$40.00 for up to 25 guests
$75.00 for more than 25 guests
- Private parties outside of regular pool hours (includes
parties that start during regular pool hours and conclude after
regular pool hours)
$25 for up to 15 guests, plus $6.50 per hour lifeguard fee
(per lifeguard)
$40 for up to 25 guests, plus $6.50 per hour lifeguard fee (per
lifeguard)
$75 for more than 25 guests, plus $6.50 per hour lifeguard fee
(per lifeguard)
Guard number will be based on normal safety guidelines.
- This fee is non-refundable except for pool closure due to
weather.
- Fee is payable when the party is booked.
These rules may be revised or additional rules
established at anytime for the Board of Directors.
Board meetings are open and may be attended by
any member.
